Spring Craft Fairs

This spring I started to attend my first-ever craft fairs as a vendor. The above photo is from my first craft fair in Bellevue, where I learned a lot and networked all day. It was a fantastic learning experience and I was able to determine how I'd like to start turning my booth into.

Attending my second-ever craft fair in Lincoln I was met with a ton more vendors than the first craft fair. This craft fair was more successful than the last, selling a good amount of stickers. I got a lot of eyes on my artwork and handed out a good amount of business cards. I also even got program recommendations from various shoppers. At this point I started to realize that I enjoy these fairs.

My third-ever craft fair saw me in an event ballroom at a beautiful hotel in Lincoln. At this point I was able to become critical about how I'd like my booth to be, and I came away with a ton of plans for my next fair in June. I will admit, I haven't sold a painting at any craft fairs yet, but prints and stickers seem to be popular. I have big plans for my next one and I am excited to prepare even more paintings. Here's to many more craft and art fairs!
